Within the general area of NPD Process Improvement there are a wide range of activities that we undertake these include: - • carrying out a detailed analysis of your current NPD process• producing a comprehensive analysis of process inputs and outputs • characterising weaknesses or inefficiencies within or at the interfaces of your process • identifying and implementing process improvements or new processes • carrying out training and facilitation to embed the process improvements • facilitating pilot project activities to demonstrate the process improvements The key result from these activities is a reduced time to market for all your NPD projects but in addition you will gain: - • a clear understanding of how your current NPD process works (or doesn’t)• enhancements to the function of and the interface between key parts of your NPD process • an NPD process that delivers what your business needs and that provides visibility of progress and status of projects • a consistent and clear understanding throughout your organisation of the improved NPD process backed up by practical knowledge of its operation |
