NPD Specify is a two day on-site training workshop focussed on a subject that provides more sources of confusion and frustration for new product development activities than any other. The workshop provides an effective learning environment to: -

• - Explore the customer or market requirements aspects of a specification
• - Explore the engineering solutions aspects of a specification
• - Consider the role that innovation plays in the specification process
• - Devise a specification format and process that works for your organisation

One of the important results of the workshop is a common understanding of how the specification process will operate across all functions involved in new product development. It is intended for a wide audience that includes personnel involved in product management, marketing communications and manufacturing as well as engineering and design.
